Does music affect the speed of my horse?

At the barn I'm at, there is an indoor arena. Right outside there is music playing. There is also an outdoor arena, without music. When I am inside, my horse has a much faster canter, and when I'm outside, my horse has a slow lope. Is it possible this is because of the music affecting the beat and speed of how he runs?
