I have an old toro key-lectric start lawnmower but it wont idle any suggestions?

I cleaned out the carb. and have tried adjusting it but once it is out of choke and into idle it just dies. i am also looking for a charger for the battery any websites i could fill in model number and it would give me some chargers would be nice, thnx
