37 weeks pregnant. I'll be induced on April 4th. PLEASE READ!?

Today I make 37 weeks pregnant and on April 2nd my doctor scheduled me an "Amnio Test" to make sure my baby's lungs are well developed so I could be induced on April 4th. Is this something dangerous? Would you do this? Also aren't the baby's lungs developed by 38 weeks?
