During World War 2, who could have won? The Empire of Japan or the British Empire?

Japan got their s kicked because of their backwards society and war tactics in the water and on land. Many Japanese would kill themselves instead of fighting for their lives. The British military was in much better condition overall before WWII than Japan who was occupying China with a peasant army, but Germany knocked the British down a peg and had them on the brink of defeat. Japan was slaughtered by the U.S. in the majority of land and naval battles while the majority of U.S. Forces (the Army) were in Europe. The U.S. nuked Japan twice because the entire Japanese population was brainwashed with propaganda to think we were all murders. The Japanese government told them and even trained them to fight us even though their navy and army were already broken.
