Ear Lobe Piercing Question...?

I have had all my ear piercings done with a gun. But, like you, I have heard all the horror stories about the gun versus the a needle. If I had to do it over, I would go to a good piercing shop and have the piercings done with a needle. I had a cartilage piercing that was done with a gun that still gets sore sometimes and I had it done over a year ago. I believe the needle piercings heal quicker. Just make sure that you follow the cleaning and care instructions that you get from the piercer.
