Should I buy a new pedal or amp?

I'm starting a rock band and I want to improve my sound, at the moment I have a boss ds-1 and a dunlop crybaby and I use a Roland Micro Cube amp. I'm not sure if the Micro Cube is loud enough we will only be playing in pubs and small venues. I would buy a Marshall Cl 5 but I would rather get more pedals like perhaps a tube screamer or Boss ps-6 or maybe an Re-20 what should I do?
