Why is he talking to me again when i clearly stated i don't want to have with him?

im 16 and so is he.we went out for 2 or 3 days.we had once (i was a virgin until i was with him)when we were going out and another time after we broke up(i still don't know why we broke up but ok whatever im over it and he broke up with me in a text message). last week he starts talking to me again when i was talking wit my friend who was his friend too and i clearly don't wanna talk to him. and today he starts joking around with me and talking to me like as if nothing happened between us it was alright and we had fun but im still confused why he still wants to talk to me.is it because he wants to have with me again or what?i already told his homeboy, my good friend that im gonna have with him again, he most likely told him that too.i already like someone else and im looking to start something with him again so why is he looking to find a way to communicate with me again?
